Portuguese Azulejo Tiles

Cascais Portugal

Pretty geometric tiles on the wall of a building in Cascais.

In Portugal, azulejos are found on the interior and exterior of churches, palaces, ordinary houses and even railway stations or subway stations. They can form panels depicting a story or mosaics of a single colour and decorated with geometric or flora motifs.
