Thursday Lingering Look at Windows: Week 35

Go to Thursday Lingering Look at Windows for more windows

Something from another continent this week – over to Carouge, an area of Geneva in Switzerland for some adorable (well I think so) shutters. Look closely and you will see that they are all different styles.

Carouge, across the River Arve, is the Greenwich Village of Geneva with its Bohemian atmosphere, trendy boutiques, galleries, wine bars and restaurants. It has a very Mediterranean feel and a place that I suspect not many tourists venture into – they should!

  1. I was driving today, looking at windows (imagine that, right) and was thinking “shutters make such a world of difference but not the plastic shutters, the old time shutters with character” and look..lots of character here!
Also love how you angled the pictures to add another layer of interest.
